When a long-stay resident guest was enjoying his favourite meal in The Abu Dhabi EDITION's Oak Room restaurant, waiter Tugay knew just how he could overdeliver to make the meal that bit more memorable.
Tucking in to his signature order of Black Onyx Striploin with Béarnaise sauce, the member remarked on the delicious black pepper, asking what brand it was. Server Tugay instantly knew he could do better than simply naming the brand. As the guest continued to dine, Tugay took some Marriott Bonvoy branded salt and pepper shakers and filled them with fresh black pepper and sea salt from the kitchen. When his meal was done, this guest was presented with more than just the bill. New seasoning in hand, the member left the Oak Room surprised, pleased and with tastier dinners ahead of him - all thanks to some above and beyond thinking.
