An Unforgettable NYE

One of our regular restaurant VIP guest planned to dine in our Signature Restaurant, The Fiskebar on New Year's eve 2022 and the service team made a great selection of wines to prepare for her arrival. Unfortunately, most of the selected wines were extremely difficult to find. Samuel, our F&B Manager tried multiple wine cellars and suppliers in Switzerland and in France but could not find one of them. One day, he was passing a wine cellar in a small village of France, where he finally found the last bottle of the desired wine.

During new year's Eve, the team organized a harpist to play in the bar next to her table, as the guest was a fan of classical music. They set up her table with festive decoration and a memory box; a box where the team kept every cork of the bottles she enjoyed during her meals, just to remind her of all the good memories she had at the Fiskebar. While enjoying her dinner, Samuel was preparing one more surprise in one of the hotel's Lake Front Suite: He arranged a bottle of champagne and some delicacies to enjoy Geneva's NYE fireworks in the most beautiful spot - The guest was truly touched by the sincere efforts of the team.
