A young guest joined us in Paris with a big dream: to become an international pastry chef. Hearing this, Renaissance team member, Youssef had just the idea to help her ambitions become reality.

Working with the pastry team at the Solis restaurant, they drew up a work contract for the little girl to sign - hiring her onto the team on one condition: she would learn to bake French madeleines and prepare some for her parents. She accepted the terms with glee, telling her parents: "Well, now I have to go to work". After spending an hour with our pastry chef, she had whipped up some delicious madeleines that her parents were delighted to enjoy. She loved gifting her parents the delicious treats - and Youssef loved helping kick off her pastry career. How sweet!
