Every Seashell Has a Story

Due to the pandemic, as well as their busy schedules, a family was not able to stay at the hotel for four years, yet upon their return Mihaela from our Front Desk immediately recognized the repeat guests and welcomed them back.

Francesca, their daughter grew up and became a bit shyer than before yet during breakfast, Mihaela managed to “break the ice” and Francesca finally spoke to her. She told her that she was working on collecting 500 seashells to take back home with her.

Their stay was coming to an end and on the second last day, Francesca was very sad as she was not able to find enough shells to reach her goal.

Mihaela could not let her go with such sadness, so she shared the story with her colleagues, Jishnu and Shyam. They immediately jumped in to help and came to work early to make sure they will have time for find enough seashells from the sea. While the gentlemen were preparing this, Mihaela asked Nene and Nay Chi from the Kids Club to help craft a bracelet made from a seashell something small that Francesca can wear, to always remember her vacation at our hotel.

At the last breakfast, while they were saying goodbye to the family, Mihaela and Jishnu brought the precious gift. Francesca jumped for joy when seeing the surprise. She put the bracelet on and proudly showed it to her parents who were absolutely amazed by the thoughtful gestures. Francesca and the family said goodbye and that they were looking forward to coming back to our hotel soon.
